Extracurricular activities at Labour India Gurukulam Public School & Junior College offer an important balance to academic work and a welcome chance for students to explore and cultivate personal interests. Students paint, hone computer skills or cook during after-school classes, and have the opportunity to participate in Science Fairs, Exhibitions or School Choir.
We ensure that students maintain a rich extracurricular life, with opportunities for acting, singing and dancing in dramatic and musical productions or Chorus; playing in the Orchestra or Band; honing diplomatic skills; writing and editing for the school newspaper or yearbook; or participating in other activities.
We conduct special activities on Saturdays aimed at developing the skills of our students in the field of arts and sports.

Community Service
At Labour India Gurukulam, the ultimate goal is to prepare students for a life of active, responsible world citizenship. Therefore community service is a key part of the curriculum. Students engage in numerous and wide-ranging service endeavors from fundraising activities to environmental efforts to involvement with local and international service agencies. Through these efforts, students gain insight into the problems faced by lesser fortunate people, with the satisfaction of knowing they may have made a difference.
